SAIE was founded in Bologna in the 1960s: in Italy’s economic boom years, the rapid growth of construction and infrastructure found its ideal setting in a far-sighted and visionary project that immediately took on a key role in the country’s development.

In 2018, Senaf, together with BolognaFiere, committed to relaunching SAIE, marking the beginning of a new journey for the event. As demonstrated by the success of recent editions, SAIE has once again been recognized by the market as the leading trade fair for the entire construction industry, an accelerator of growth for the market and for a community of over 311,838 professional operators.
